Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS
Rider sensations are important when it comes to twisting the throttle. The Ninja 1000 embodies the concept of rider sensation with a 1,043cc liquid-cooled in-line four that provides silky-smooth linear power but can howl when you want it to. New for 2014, selectable Power Modes allow you to dial back the power (to about 70%, with a milder response) to suit your riding situation.
The Ninja® 1000 uses a small, lightweight ABS unit to complement a braking system featuring radial-mount monobloc callipers that squeeze
petal-style 300mm rotors up front and a 250mm petal-type rotor with a single piston calliper in the rear. The stopping power and
control are tremendous, and allow you to carve canyons with a passenger, full saddlebags and still have strong, fade-free braking.
